Our Story
About Amyla Lux Jewels
Two generations. Two styles. One shared love.
We’re Iffat and Minahil, the mother-daughter duo behind Amyla Lux Jewels.
Amyla began in 2022 from a frustration we knew all too well: ordering jewelry online that looked beautiful in photos, only to be disappointed when it arrived. We struggled to find the quality, craftsmanship and designs we wanted for ourselves—so we decided to find them for you.
What started as a shared love of jewelry quickly became something much bigger.
Our styles couldn’t be more different. Iffat has always gravitated toward bold colors, statement pieces and jewelry that gets noticed. Minahil tends toward a more understated aesthetic, choosing pieces with beautiful details that elevate an outfit without overpowering it. That contrast has become one of Amyla’s greatest strengths. Together, we curate a collection that ranges from timeless and delicate to unapologetically statement-making.
Jewelry that looks even better in person
Every piece we bring to Amyla is chosen with close attention to its design, detailing and craftsmanship. We want the excitement you feel when opening your Amyla package to match—or exceed—the way you felt when you first saw the piece online.
In fact, one of the compliments we hear most often from our customers is:
“It looks even better in person.”
For us, there’s no better compliment.
From our family to yours
Amyla is named after two very special people in our family—Minahil’s children, Ammar and Ayla.
And family is still at the heart of how we run the business today. From selecting new pieces and inspecting quality to photographing, packaging and shipping orders, Amyla is truly a hands-on mother-daughter business.
We’re based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and what began within our local community has grown into a brand worn by women across the U.S. and beyond.
Made for more than one kind of woman—or one kind of outfit
While our jewelry is deeply inspired by South Asian style and craftsmanship, we don’t believe it should live in your jewelry box waiting for the next wedding.
We love seeing Amyla worn with lehengas and saris, but also with dresses, suits, blazers and everyday Western looks. Whether you’re dressing for a wedding, Eid, dinner, a celebration—or simply want the jewelry to make the outfit—we want you to find something at Amyla that feels like you.
Thank you for allowing our little mother-daughter idea to become part of your celebrations, your outfits and your jewelry boxes.
With love,
Iffat & Minahil
